End of 2nd grade (River)

Well, it is officially summer break!

River finished up a great school year and is now a big 3rd grader.

Here is a photo of River on the last day of school (May 16) as a second grader. His teacher, Mrs. Haluska is an amazing teacher and I hope she will be Aspen's teacher when she gets to 2nd grade. :)

The last day was dress Hawaiian day. :)

The class got to celebrate by walking over to Mrs. Haluska's house and having a lunch party complete with paper airplane flying.

Here is River with his classmates:

How can my baby boy be an official 3rd grader already?!?!? I am so proud of him...more than he knows!!

Willow in photos (part 3)

More photos of our precious little Willow...she is growing too fast. We love watching her grow, though. :)

Willow in photos (part 2)

Willow is simply adorable. I could stare at her for hours...and sometimes do just that. :)

Can you tell how loved this little baby is? :)

Willow in photos (the first day)

Because I have much catching up to do in the photo-posting-on-the-blog-department...here are shots of Willow basking in all her cuteness...during her early days. :)

(More to come!)

Baby Willow

It has been awhile since I have last written. Shameful. I really need to put this little site to good use documenting family happenings.

Speaking of family happenings...we had a big event take place and well, it doesn't get much better than this...

Willow Tallulah Rose was born on March 7, 2014 @11:34 a.m. She weighed 6 lbs, 14 oz.
We had her at Erlanger downtown. I labored for 7 hours (by far my shortest labor). Went all natural again (who knew I could actually tolerate that much pain...and three times, no less). Amy Miller Anderson (my midwife) delivered her (she also delivered River and Aspen). It was a beautiful natural birth and we had a great experience!

Willow is so loved! What a beautiful addition she is to our family. God is good!
